Tanay Amin, MD, FAAOS trained in Houston's prestigious Texas Medical Center, where he attended medical school and completed his Hand Surgery Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a comprehensive Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Kansas–Kansas City.
Dr. Amin is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
His approach to orthopedic care is highly collaborative. Dr. Amin works closely with each patient to understand their symptoms, lifestyle and goals before developing an individualized treatment strategy. Whenever appropriate, conservative and non-surgical options can be explored before surgery is considered.
